The logo is designed to be easily recognizable and establish identity using 4 touchpoints. (1) The name NANOOK is first and foremost a film reference, but it is also a common pet name. This way the name establishes the identity by itself. (2) The dog icon emphasizes the name, and provides further information about the brand. (3) The color choice for the logo are inviting and welcoming. They are also strongly associated with dog nutrition products. (4) The tagline informs the user about the product, and establishes that the product is nutrition. It further implies that the nutrition is high quality by containing a lot of meat.
The result is a logo that communicates and establish a focus on healthy, high quality and tasteful nutrition for dogs.
Since the wish is to be perceived and appears as professional and highly skilled, it is important that the design products reflect these wishes. Considering the target market and audience, it is important to focus on trust, but also that it is informative, fun, healthy, and delicious.
Both posters and brochures will be designed to promote and inform consumers about the maternity group courses. The posters will be designed to catch the attention of the consumers, and hopefully seek more information. The business already has a logo and business cards, but to create a coherent visual expression, the logo will be redesigned. The previous designer did not provide a profile manual, which makes it hard to just redesign the logo.
